My name is Chris Clark I am an animator, illustrator and Artist based in the North West of England.
My work is often simple and abstract, using ambiguous shapes and forms. This stems from an interest in formal abstract painting and theory and a desire to apply this to a more playful and contemporary practice.
Most of my work revolves around experimentation and process, sometimes applying an almost scientific method to my drawing. I believe that through ambiguity of meaning and repetition I can create work that is both simple and minimalist but also intriguing and enticing.
